New York State Chaplain Task Force, an affiliate of United States Chaplain Task Force, is a 501c3 Not-For-Profit organization which trains, maintains and dispatches highly skilled volunteer Inter-Faith Community Crisis Chaplains to provide spiritual and emotional support and assistance to individuals and their families, local & state agencies, as well as public and private institutions, in times of crisis. Our Community Crisis Chaplains bring images of order in the midst of chaos, and hope in the midst of despair. They advise at all levels and offer honest and candid moral and spiritual guidance to all. Our volunteer chaplains have all undergone extensive background checks at the local, state and federal levels, and are certified in Mental Health First Aid and First Aid, CPR & AED. We take pride in providing 24/7 365 day a year emergency spiritual and emotional support services, and in developing customized spiritual care programs for institutions of all types.
